Our annual Corporate and Investment Banking IT Challenge is the ideal opportunity for you to experience our exciting and varied global investment banking environment and sample the range of IT career opportunities we offer.

Testing your problem solving skills and teamwork abilities, the IT Challenge gives you an insight into our highly demanding, dynamic and constantly challenging IT environment.

What the IT Challenge involves

Working in a team of four, you need to tackle a series of hypothetical problems within a set time – there'll be five questions over four hours during your heat and six hours in the final. A panel of Computer Olympiad Trust experts set the questions, judge the results and decide on the winners.

Each question is progressively more challenging and, to date no team has ever completed all the questions correctly within the allotted time!

Take the Challenge

If you thought that IT divisions in banks were pretty boring places, think again. At Standard Bank Group we use the latest technologies to develop and maintain systems that support our global business. And we have plenty of opportunities for enthusiastic and skilled people to make their mark. So, take our IT Challenge and prove you've got what it takes.
